Visitation for Mary H. Shepherd nee Schmitz of Hanover Park for 45 years will be held Friday July 6, 2018 3:00 - 8:00p.m. at theCountryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 9:15a.m. to St. Marcelline Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.

A longtime parishioner of St. Marcelline Church in Schaumburg, she was active in the Women's Club and a greeter at church. Mary enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and squirrels in her backyard.

She is the beloved mother of Dawn M. (Rhonda Barbeau) Shepherd and Kimberly A. (Daniel) Mari; loving step grandmother of Bryce and Cameryn Barbeau and Riley Mendenhall; dear sister of Germaine (Louis) Govze, John (Mary) Schmitz, Joann (Stephen) Frazier, Joseph (Sandy) Schmitz and the late Jerome (Sharon) Schmitz; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
