Services for Nellie Mae Jandacek nee Sheets of Schaumburg, formerly of Elmhurst will be private. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born April 22, 1922 in Detroit, MI, Nellie died Sunday, May 30, 2010.
She worked as a head nurse of Orthopedics at West Lake Hospital in Melrose Park for over 25 years.
She is the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Judd Jandacek of Miami, FL and Jann (Wayne) Slover of Schaumburg; cherished grandmother of Amy, Alex and Brad.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Illinois Chapter 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800 Chicago,IL 60631 or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 would be appreciated. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home/ Streamwood (630) 289-8054.
