Obituary for Norma Thiemann

Funeral Services for Norma Louise Thiemann of Roselle for 83 years will be held Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 S. Rush St. Roselle, 60172 where she will lie in state from 12:30p.m. until time of service 1:30p.m. Committal services will be Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park, where family and friends will meet at 11:00a.m.
Born Oct. 1, 1918 in Chicago, Norma died Feb. 16, 2010 in Elmhurst.
She is survived by many loving cousins and her daughter-in-“love” Bonnie Carter and family. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Leroy.
Norma graduated Trinity Lutheran School in 1933, Wheaton Community High School in 1937 and received an Associates Degree from Northwestern University, Evanston. She worked for 20 years in editorial work, including management and 20 years as pastoral assistant in Trinity Lutheran Church. She was one of the founders of Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church in 1937 and taught continuously until 2007. Norma was also a member of Central Eleanor Club for business and professional women in Chicago.
