Obituary for Refugio Gallardo

Refugio Gallardo, 85, of Bartlett, died Monday, November 13, 2017. Born July 4, 1932 in Chicago. Refugio worked at Elmhurst Chicago Stone Quarry for over 25 years. He enjoyed watching western movies, putting together puzzles and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Beloved husband of Sally (nee Lopez ); loving father of Laura, Richard (Michele), Victoria (Charles) Lorusso, Sally Moreno, Anna Mojica and the late Christine and Nicholas; step father of Jay, Candice, Diane, Sheryl, Teresa cherished grandpa, great grandpa and great great grandpa of 27; caring son of the late Jose and Maria (nee Yracheta) step son of the late Virginia (nee Amesquita); kind brother of Sally Martinez, Shirley Hansen, the late Joseph and half-brother of Dolly (Ralph) Gonzalez, Joe (Denise) , Lola (Dave) Pletsch, Tom (Chris), David (Toni), Barb (Roger) Berry, Ron (Victoria) and Valentina; loving father-in-law of the late Paul Garcia. Visitation 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following service cremation at Countryside Crematory.
