Obituary for Vivian O'Donnell (Axelson)

Vivian O'Donnell, nee Axelson, of Elgin , formerly of Villa Park, cherished wife for 60 years of Roger; dear mother of Michele O'Donnell and Terri (Bill) Swanson; devoted grandmother of Kiel (Lesley) and Ryan (Deborah); loving great grandmother of Calvin, Violet, Afton and Otto; beloved daughter of the late Aldor "Bill" and the late Margaret. Vivian was an avid world traveler. When at home from her travels she would keep busy by sewing, knitting and ceramics. She was a great hostess and enjoyed using her talents as a cook to entertain and feed her many friends and family. Despite her busy lifestyle she always made the family her #1 priority. Visitation Sunday, December 17th, 3:00 - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Monday, December 18th, lying in state 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Ardmore Ave. Villa Park, until the time of her service 11:00 am. Interment Queen of Heaven.
