Funeral Services for Walter Arthur Olson of Streamwood since 1967 will be held Thursday 10:30a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday 4:00 - 9:00p.m.
Born Nov. 2, 1931 in Blue Island, Walter died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010.
USAR Veteran of Korean Conflict.
He is the beloved husband of the late Ila Mae; loving father of Suzzanne (Ken) Bailey of Streamwood, Linda (Andy) Politis of Niles and Gayanne (Orval) Auten of Lenox, IA; cherished grandfather of Kyle Bailey, Emma and J.T. Politis, Matthew (Val), Joshua (Tracey) and Adam Auten; proud great grandfather of Wyatt, Jewelina, Bella and Julia; dear brother of May Simpson and Alice (Ben) Marino of Arizona.
