Dave Dillon of Palatine, IL

My sympathies to Dave's family and everyone who know him. Bill Floyd said it best, but since I worked closely with Dave in the early years of Discover Card I want to add that Dave was the best computer programmer I ever knew. Many of Dave's programs continue to run at Discover. Some of them have been running for over 20 years. He was a great guy and great to work with. Dave created the most technical parts of the many great systems our team developed and he worked amazingly fast. Dave will be missed.
