Obituary for Ronald Sum
Visitation for Ronald W. Sum of Streamwood for 50 years will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Following mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Ron is a 30 year veteran of the Arlington Heights Police Department. He loved fishing, golfing, hunting and taking his grandchildren bowling.
He is the beloved husband of 55 years of Noreen G. nee Brezinski; loving father of Deneen (Rick) Holota, Cindy (David) Wojciechowski and Christine (Steven) Comparone; cherished grandfather of Hannah, Devin, Zoe, Hayden, Matthew, Sophia, Hope, Aaron, Lily and Grace.
