Condolences

Condolence From: Ed Huber
Condolence: I send my sincere condolences to Noreen and the entire Sum family. Ron was a good friend and colleague when we worked together at AHPD. I will never forget how her could make us laugh with just a few words at the right moment. God speed to you my friend and may God hold you in the palm of his hand and grant you peace.

Condolence: Noreen and the Sum family, Sorry to hear the sad news regarding Ron, an excellent co-worker and super funny guy. So many memories of working together both in blue, but especially as police counselors and later assigned to youth investigations when Sgt. Karl (Fritz) Reinke was our leader. From Ron's daily utterances of, Excuse Me to his skill at furrowing his brow, making everyone think he was wearing a toupee, Ron always made the days at 33 South something to look forward to. As the tears fade, in the years ahead, just remember all the great times shared as family. And, for those of us who worked with him, we will miss a great friend, gentleman and one of Arlington's finest.

Condolence: Ron was always making me laugh at The P.D. he was so funny. One of my favorites "In Blue" for sure. I often asked if he would be at "The Geezer" meetings. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember his "Yellow Blankie" song that Hannah used to listen to and it was stuck in Ron's head. We were outside, I was having a "gag" and he starts singing...I Love my yellow blankie!!! We were laughing so hard! I loved him. God Bless
